Business Intelligence is moving beyond traditional operational reporting, that is, delivering standard reports periodically to managers who use the information to help them do their jobs or make better operational decisions.

Today, Business Intelligence is strategic. Business Intelligence finds its way into business processes, delivering information at the point where it is needed and aware of the business rules that help an organization meet its strategic goals. An example may be an alert that is delivered to a production manager when inventory is due to be shipped across the country when the same inventory is available a few miles away from the customer. (This happens to be a solution CNE has delivered to a local manufacturer with multiple warehouses in the US).

CNE solutions are developed and driven by a business need or objective. CNE is in the process of commercializing a number of solutions based on Business Intelligence technology which will serve industry and higher education, healthcare and finance.
